Sunshine Vitamin-C Immune-Supporting Juice

Saving up my money and treating myself to a good-quality juicer was the best thing I could have done! I had wanted one for so so so long and I went to Bed, Bath & Beyond with a 20% off coupon (which you get once a month when you sign up for their newsletter) and saved a lot of money. I use the Omega Masticating Juicer and it works amazing for me! Definitely check out that model if you are looking for a juicer. One of my favorite juices to make is a Vitamin-C Packed Juice. I drank this when I was feeling a bit of a cold coming on last summer and I found it helped my immune system as well as my skin felt extremely soft. (I drank this about 5 times that week and noticed the skin benefits after the full week – every one is different though!) Here’s my recipe for it:

Vitamin-C Packed Juice

6-7 carrots
1/2 cantaloupe melon peeled
2 oranges peeled
1 kiwi peeled
1 huge chunk of ginger peeled
1 lemon peeled
1/2 yam peeled
1 cup coconut water for diluting it a bit (optional)

Directions: Chop what needs chopping, and juice it all up 🙂 You can add the coconut h2o for diluting it if it’s too intense!
